I was talking to the Kohler engine rep today about our use of the 31 HP Kohler with the #5MP (56) blower.

He told me that he is receiving a couple of new model 38 HP Kohlers in December.

I want to see how the 38 HP engine handles the #5MP with a full 16" of lift @ 500 CFM.

We can put our new stainless 4-Port vac filter to the test with two wands.

Danny;

The 31 HP has been a very good engine for TM applications.

Kohler usually tests new engines in the Commercial Lawn Maintenance field to see how well they tolerate abuse.

With the exception of one customer who ran the engine out of water, our 31HPs have been trouble-free.

The Electronic Fuel Injection keeps the exhaust temp consistant for the heat exchanger system and of course save gasoline by metering only the minimum amount of fuel.

Cost on the new 38HP has not been released yet. It is 990 CC in displacement.
