It has been awhile since I ran into something that I just didn't know. I got called by a local Mcdonalds today and they wanted to bid tile cleaning (no problem), but they also wanted me to bid cleaning the padded, or spongy, floor in the playground area.

I have never cleaned that surface before. I don't know if there are any chemical sensitivities, or maximum PSI. Would I use a spinner tool or just pressure was it? Anyone have any experience with that type of flooring?

If it is made up of individual squares that lock together, I would think a main concern would be to not let any water migrate underneath it through the joints, as it would probably not dry very easily.

Not familiar with that specific flooring.

But there are many hybrid floors now and i always go to manufacturer website and find out first.

The spongy floor here is not squares. we have been cleaning one here with the carpet also in the play area. We pre spray boyh areas with grand slam and clean with wand. I do not think it would up to spinner.
We do not get gum off with any chemical because it might break down. Gum removes from carpet without a problem. For the spongy area we usually turd down pressure to 350 or a little more.
