I wonder if Judson was inspired by these guys a bit before his time?

Wow.............those photo's are real cool

I wonder if they had problems with infringement.......

Just mess in around

Seriously, Thanks for finding those and posting them.

Can you imagine how hard it was to work with one of
those.

Sort of reminds you of the early washer machines......

Arnie Ballweber and Joe Judge were Truck Mount makers before Mike Palmer.

Bill Bane was one of the first to put a machine in the truck, but only wanted to make electric ones, and did a good job of it.

Others made gas powered or CDS powered machines to compete with the Bane machine.

Prochem was also an early manufacturer, some time in the early 1970's.

Mike Palmer's main contribution was marketing. He was a great salesman, and promoted Hydramaster a lot more than many others who were making Truck Mounts.

That's my opinion.

When I was 18 years old. I took the astro cleaner

I took the astro cleaner to clean carpets in a 6 story bank. I made a vacuum manifold to run 5 vacuum hoses. We pulled the hose up the stairwell and down the halls about 250 ft each, and we started cleaning, it had more than enough vacuum power with a #8 BLOWER. I had 2 guys per floor, and as we cleaned we would pull the hose back to the stairwell. Then the guy on the 3rd floor came up the elevator, and said the door was blocked with vacuum hose. Have you ever felt like a big dumbass, well I did that day. We took the elevator down to the first floor, and it was the biggest mess you've ever seen. Vacuum hose filled the stairwell for 3 floors.

The TRUTH is that those photo's are some of Tony's CURRENT units.
He bought them used and fixed them up. (or did he buy them NEW!?)

Either way, the story is that he's a TIGHTWAD with $$!

At last someone who was there.

Since the concept of HW Extractors & Truck Mounts originated on the West coast. Out our way knowledge of them has been based on rumors ETC.

Please write up the story as you see it.

Thanks,
Judson

Hi Guys:

Here is a Judson story. In TN is a machine that was once owned by Scott Warrington (probably 1970's). He then sold it to a friend of mine. During the years that I did TM repairs, I did some for him. Last week I saw his son, he just had it pulled out and installed in a new van. It must have close to a 1/2 million hrs.

Thx,
Dale
