because it was still damp I had a play with Avenge spotter (I wouldnt normally) which did better than expected 👍

at which point broke out some my own reducer and some HOT HOT HEAT!!

slight shadowing that should blend and fade. I have to admit I prefer stain work over cleaning anyday

I grabbed the avenge because my HF was empt
I wash those out in entirety with the RotoVac StairPro. No need to blend out that far.
Nup, I clean LOTS of wool so I'm confident no tool would have taken it further than pic 2(had 3 lots of spotter hand brushed through and dwell & extracted at that point).
Which is why I changed to a reducer, I like to make sure the temp is kept up and maintained which is why the long strokes.
And in my experience your better to take them till you can just see them than reduce till you can't and find you've stripped colour once its dry
