I don't get how they come up with such a high mark up setup.

I used Restoration Manager several years ago at a previous employer. What we found out during our implementation was the software was originally developed for the homebuilding industry. They later "re-branded" their system for the restoration industry. The mobile device was very good for tracking your work while out in the field. However, the main software was not user friendly and the reporting was unreliable. Overall we were unsatisfied with system and dropped it after a year or so.
