We used to give a 10% referral up to $500.00 for restoration work. There are larger margins in restoration work.

I might give $100.00 if you don't think it would offend them. I'd certainly want him to continue to refer me if he is in a position to.

Referral/kick back/finders fee/ call it what you want to make you feel better..

I don’t mind giving a “finders fee” , just unsure how to go about it.. We have a unique situation as well..

If there was an acceptable profit margin over and above your costs then 10% sounds good.
