Back when I first entered the restoration industry, I was sort of led to believe by my peers, as well as established teaching programs that the more money an adjuster saved on a claim the more money he would make from the insurer.

Most believe tha PA's work on a contingency type of arrangement whereby allowing them to make an unlimited income or earning per claim. So for independant adjusters.....do they get paid by the hour, salary, or per claim?

What do captive adjusters earn per year in your region of the country?

Some of the SF field adjusters were making around 60, a couple of years ago.

Everyone bitching at you, their boss, the customer, the contractor and the restorer.

I think they are under paid and over worked, I wouldn't want that job!

I heard a lot of them got free drinks at happy hour. I know up here most adjusters get cases of liquor every Christmas.
