Gasoline Road Tax

Has anyone been able to buy gas without paying the road tax?
With Diesel you can buy fuel without the tax and you aren't paying road tax on Propane.
Farmers are able to buy fuel that isn't taxed.

Your local distributer can sell gas or deisel without road tax. It is dyed (well the deisel is for sure). If you ever get your tank dipped by your state and they find dye it is thousands in fines.
