Thursday night after the rug tour the group will head to Seabright Brewery for fresh suds and Garlic Frys

Friday night we'll have a real meAt BBQ at the Vets Hall and enjoy the rockin, flying finger stylings of the Brian Luddy Band

Saturday night dinner will be back at the Best Western were we can wind down and say our goodbyes..

Lunch on both days will be offered at the Vets Hall by their fine chefs for $15.00 a head.

Drinks and light snacks are included in the $40 a day fest fee.

Bar on site.

My cousin's in Lawrence have a yearly event called the "Brother's Olympics", series of events mostly a drunken fest although some to take winning serious. Anyway my uncle was asked to go but was also concerned about drinking and driving so he ask the cousin that organizes the event what was the plan. He told him not to worry they had designated drivers for the event.

The day of the event and they were having a good time when my uncle noticed his driver was also drinking. He asked my cousin, "I thought you said we had designated drivers for this?" My cousin said "We do have designated drivers." my uncle responded "they are drinking!"

My cousin said "I never said, they wouldn't drink!" :eekk:

Its fun, basketball, horseshoes, bowling, darts, punch the bag, shooting pool were the events last year. Dan and his sons go ever year. I didn't go last year but went two years ago. After all events they have a family picnic includes wives, girlfriends and kids.

They've been doing it for 10-years now, it's grown from just their (my cousins) family to over 60-participants last year.

I will be glad to be a designated driver. I will have room for 2 additional folks in my vehicle. But be warned, I am old and tend to go to bed early.

I am bring you..... Russ and Richard...( Richard yelled shot gun )... from the airport to the hotel..pretty sure that 90% of the people that are going are all going to terrorize the same hotel....so getting a ride to and from the event and anywhere else....should not be that hard.....

I would think getting back to the airport is where some need to be concerned.......we are all going back at way different times......

going home.....my flight leaves San Jose airport at 11:15 am on Sunday........I think it is only a 45 min drive from the hotel back to the airport......and I have to take into account dropping the car rental back off...and getting threw security....so I am thinking I may plan on leaving around 8:30/8:45 am....
