Fred a long time ago we discussed how Vee and Tee jets are "flow rated"..
You would think a 6 flow jet or combination of jets would produce 6 gallons per minute at a set/base PSI...

but no.

Most wands create about a gallon and a half at 6/500

The nozzles are rated for from at 40 psi. An 02 nozzle will give you .2 gpm. An 06 will give you .6 gpm. Pumptec has a nozzle chart that shows what nozzles will do at various gpm. I believe an 04 will give you 1.5 gpm at 500 psi.

speaking of Dan
anyone know how he's doing?

good dude with solid info, insight and posts

..L.T.A.

no idea

I assume he just finally gave up on the carpet cleaning side job which he got into as a fallback plan in 08. He has a good job as an industrial electrician/engineer (I think) of some sort if he hasn't retired.

Maybe we'll see him again the way things are going :eekk:
