My vote is for Yelp.com though I get frustrated at them filtering legitimate reviews. BBB is a joke now, I've been hearing of business getting bad reviews then BBB calling saying: "if you resubscribe, we'll have the review taken down"...sounds like extorsion to me. Angie's is heading into BBB land soon with a past experience I had with them. Anyone have other review websites?

No such thing as a legit online review site.....It's impossible.

People are going to see both fake and real reviews.

By the way...Is a review fake if an owner reviews himself and says he's dedicated to his work etc?

It's like reviews of the board tool of the day....Hard to cut through all the clutter.

Only Google reviews show up on Google as snippets now, and since Google rules. The rest don't matter much.

Put your effort where is will make the most real impact- Google.

Yelp is awesome for biz.

Ever area is different. Here Yelp get very little action.

Where does angie's list fit in?
I realize they are membership only, but i would of thought that they would have been in the top 10.

Yelp says dont solicit reviews!
from yelp.com
Probably not. It's a slippery slope between the customer who is so delighted by her experience that she takes it upon herself to write a glowing review and the customer who is "encouraged" to write a favorable review in exchange for a special discount. And let's be candid: most business owners are only going to solicit reviews from their happy customers, not the unhappy ones. Over time, these self-selected reviews create intrinsic bias in the business listing — a bias that savvy consumers can smell from a mile away. Don't be surprised, then, if your solicited reviews get filtered by Yelp's automated review filter.

I'm giving 10 percent off to get a review and its for not I'm pulling the link iff my site and never yelping again.

Sorry I get 2 to 3 call a year from it here its not google.

Its thier job to get people to Yelp and is they become yelper they can review if they want to but I'm not offering discounts to get a review that wont count. And to gey people to revoew me hen beg them to review a few other so they're relavent is stupid.
