Its 6 inches away and never touches it Larry. Ive been running these for 13 years and I have yet to even melt one. I take it down in October, and put it up in may. Best 9 bucks of the year!

We have metal bulkheads, insulated, for safety and comfort issues. Ceiling vent and fan over the machine to minimize heat in the truck.
I'm not going to jump in a hot truck after each job. AC is awesome if you give it a fighting chance to cool the cab.

I fasten it top and bottom and cut off all excess, I wouldnt just drape a curtain and neither should anyone else :/

I had a metal bulkhead in a truck. I had to keep my slide in far back so i could access the forward side if needed. My only complaint.
