We have enjoyed the increased vacuum by upgrading to 2.5". We first went from running two 2" hoses into Greenies Y adapter.

So we decided to make the full change over, and had Aero Tech make us up all that was needed to make the full conversion. We can't wait to have it all installed. The manifold with having two of 2.5" vacuum ports coming in was a great idea.

Is that the new parts? Are you going to convert all the way to the tank like Dave & Adam did? This is why I like AT they seem to try to do all they can for everyone no matter the name on the equipment.

Just for those that assume what my post means. I am not talking about a particular company this statement is for many companies that don't go the extra mile but not all.

Good Luck with the upgrade IAN

Hi Billy:

Yes these are the new parts from Aero Tech, received them last week. We can't wait to get all parts installed so we can connect our hoses to the outside of the box instead of running under the roll up door or changing the hose configurations back to 2" while dual wanding.

Ian,

You are going to love it. When it is cold, you will be able to keep your side door closed. You can run over the beam and out the stainless trim at the bottom of the box. That's what we did. Good Luck.

Thanks Dave:

It was because of your previous posting of your upgrade kit that compelled me to contact Aero Tech to have them make for me this upgrade kit.

I can't wait to have it all installed.

Are there 2 or 3 ports coming off the waste tank on a 777?

The best thing I ever did. That kit looks really good. AT did a good job on that. I had a local welder do all of mine. I think everything cost about $440, metal and welding. I got a good deal.

I dumped the filter sock in about 10 min. of use.

The FlowEzy filter(s) at the top look to be pretty loaded up too. Spin them off and clean them from the inside out. Hope there is more than one??

What did the upgrade parts cost you, in parts and getting them welded in?

Thanks
John

All the pieces you see in the above noted pictures including the vacuum manifold cost $692.00 US.

Not sure what it will cost to have them welded on and put in place, I figure the whole project installed should not cost more than $1000.00.

Once it's all done I'll let everyone know.

Re: the filter comment

I see the kneehigh cover, but I was speaking of the stuff in the pleats, especially noticed at the ends. If you pressure wash the filter out from the inside it looks like you could blow that out.

We run two 3" ss Flowezy filters on each of our little 47's, so three sounds about right for the bigger blowers. I've seen a bunch of 405's with the fitting reduced to use a 2" filter...bad economics.
