He uses liquid enzymes that need a super long dwell (wasted) time to "eat" the bacteria that causes the odor to be offensive to the nose. And if he waits long enough, it'll attack the stain also with the power it has to beat the rules of science by neutralizing the ph of the alkaline salts, even though the ph of the liquid is only 8ish.Let's hear your secret disgusting recipe.
I thought it was vinegar that worked better on urine. I haven’t ever added either to a pre spray. Just had plenty of old people tell me vinegar. He uses liquid enzymes that need a super long dwell (wasted) time to "eat" the bacteria that causes the odor to be offensive to the nose. Sound stupid? That's almost as stupid sounding as saying our prespray has little robots that attack the soil, LOL
Serious note: A job like that needs a heavy coating of peroxide first and foremost. Dwell while setting up the job. Lately I've been adding 8oz of ammonia to my HF jug of magic juice and I've been getting wonderful results on the stain removal. I assumed it would have the same effects as stain magic on stains and it does when the ammonia mixes in with the peroxide and reactivates even more. If you can tolerate a little ammonia odor, then you'll like it also. Maybe not your customer, so make sure they're somewhere else while you're cleaning
Vinegar is stupid. And it smells like nasty armpits. I would never put that odor in someone's home.I thought it was vinegar that worked better on urine. I haven’t ever added either to a pre spray. Just had plenty of old people tell me vinegar.
Vinegar by the way is a very racist word that I cannot believe we are still able to use.
To say vinegar is racist is sooooo fooking stupid. Just because it may sound like some other word. Look up the etymology of the word. It really means sour wine. How is it racist if I tell you to fook off, you sour wine? That's political correctness out of control.I thought it was vinegar that worked better on urine. Amazon productWhere did you get that black light?
I agree. But what happens to urine after it’s soaked in peroxide for 15-20min? Wouldn’t adding ammonia to it after that help remove the yellow stain?I suspect that there is plenty of ammonia present without the need for you to add any. Ammonia is a natural result of the decomposition of urine. Ammonia is responsible for much of the unpleasant urine odor. If you can drop the pH of an ammonia solution sufficiently, the odor will greatly decrease. One of the reasons that vinegar has any effect on urine odor.
You clearly do not get my sense of humor. Which I also find funny. Thank you.To say vinegar is racist is sooooo fooking stupid. Just because it may sound like some other word. My thought process is:I would have to do some research to get a complete answer. But, the value of adding ammonia is to accelerate the action of the peroxide, make it work faster. Adding ammonia after the peroxide sits for 15 or 20 minutes does not seem to have much value.
Perhaps @Lee Stockwell or @Tom Forsythe have something to add.
My thought process is:
The peroxide turns the dried urine salts back into it's liquid acid state. When the magic juice + ammonia is applied it, (like you said in accelerating the peroxide), in whatever is still active while it helps in vanquishing the stains and dissolving the grease as it breaks down the organic compounds in the urine
@Matt Wood what ammonia ya buy? What ratio of dilution? 0.5 - 1 oz to gallon?
I heard good thing about this product, so i might give this a try.
Pure Ammonia
I use ammonia for window cleaning but i dont like like the one from home depot. I usually use a capful per gallon for window cleaning.
It’s just the ammonia at Wally World or dollar store. That’s all I have@Matt Wood what ammonia ya buy? What ratio of dilution? 0.5 - 1 oz to gallon?

If you have an Ace hardware around they carry a 10% "janitorial" strength ammonia. Good stuff! A gallon runs right around 10 bucks where I'm at.
