A blonde teenager, wanting to earn some extra money for the summer, decided to hire herself out as a "handy-woman"
She started canvassing a nearby well-to-do neighborhood. She went to the front door of the first house, and asked the owner if he had any odd jobs for her to do.
"Well, I guess I could use somebody to paint my porch," he said, "How much will you charge me?"
Delighted, the girl quickly responded, "How about $50?"
The man agreed and told her that the paint brushes and everything she would need was in the garage.
The man's wife, hearing the conversation said to her husband, "Does she realize that our porch goes ALL the way around the house?"
He responded, "That's a bit cynical, isn't it?"
The wife replied, "You're right. I guess I'm starting to believe all those dumb blonde jokes we've been getting by email lately."
Later that day, the blonde teenager came to the door to collect her money.
"You're finished already?" the startled husband asked.
"Yes, she replied, and I even had paint left over, so I gave it two coats."
Impressed, the man reached into his pocket for the $50.00 and handed it to her along with a $10.00 tip.
“And, by the way," the teenager added, "it's not a Porch, it's a Lexus."

I've yet to see a Enhancer that was a topical.
Typically they are a penetrate live with a wood stain like additive, which make them oily. They need to to be wiped or buffed off after a few minutes of saturation.

Looks like this owner didn't do that properly
Diana and I repaired 5k of new quarry tile that a construction company burned with muriatic acid. We toothbrushed all the grout with an enhancer. We were probably 45 then🤷🏻‍♂️ This was for our largest account we had and still have after 30 yrs.

I started with 12ph tile spray/floor stripper, scrubbed, rinsed, another 12ph, scrubbed, rinsed, prochem acid, scrubbed , rinsed, acid again scrubbed rinse, back to alkaline scrubbed and rinse and it came out like this. As it’s drying it looks more and more like crap. I almost wanted to get some oil based black paint and roll it all over this crap

I’ll get another pic of it completely dry this afternoon.

Would a coating of enhancer help keep it looking black?

looks much better. Ive fixed some issues on slate in the past by wet sanding with 100-120 grit sandpaper.

in my case it was a floor covered in scratches

My shower dries so quick I think I could pull off a stone shower if I use triple distilled RO water..
That’s why I told her to send me another pic 2weeks from now. We’ll see. It’s been a good learning job for me

Back when I had my truckmount in my van, I did a shower like that in a rich rich neighborhood. They let me in through the gate. I worked hours and hours on that sog. I came out to my van and it had leaked oil all over their driveway 😳🤦‍♂️😡 After I cleaned it off, I did the right thing and refused payment. I haven’t done another slate shower since.
