Does that mean I should start using corner guards? Because I like the sound of the percussion instrument when I drag my hoses out of their house.

Speaking of corner guards, I found a little trick to keep them in place... use the same silicone pads that one uses to stick your cell phone to your dash... you know, frog pads... works very well...
