Increasing Page Rank of Web Sites

Hey guys I just read a post from a fellow carpet cleaner who is feeling the seasonal crunch and it occurred to me that if we started exchanging links with each other our page ranks would go up and we would come up higher when our future clients are searching for us. I am currently trying to increase the rank of my city pages. The main city I clean carpets in is Boulder Colorado. My home page has a page rank of 3 and some of my link pages have page rank. On my website directory I have HTML code that you could copy and place your own URL in and use.

I do think the on line advertising is the wave of the future.
