Godaddy discounts, I have a sneakin' suspicion....

A few weeks ago I accidently put a couple web hosting accounts in my godaddy shopping cart and left it there until they sent me a reminder to finish my purchase. I had a hard drive and a backup drive crash over the weekend so I've been looking at different backup options, like my own FTP backup. Yesterday I logged in to look at their hosting plans again and today, POOF, there's 15% discount offer in my email box.

Probably just coincidence.....but if you're shopping for hosting or domains you might want to give it a try.

Hey Wayne, similar situation here.

I looked into godaddy but someone advised me not to and to go with a 'local' service provider in New Zealand to help with SEO or something like that.

Anyway, over the past 12 months, the specialks seem to get better. Soon they'll be sending you an email 'noticeing you opened an account but haven't bought anything' and sometimes the offers are up to 50% off.
