I too have this one and it is amazing. I can finally do upholstery without the arm and wrist fatigue.
And I love being able to see what I'm pulling out.
Now that I have a helper I will get some video lol....

It's a great tool. I had the blue one and loved it. The clear head makes it even better.

Does the clear head due to different plastic, weaker. That was the verdict on the original ones.
Or did they change something so that it is just as durable?

Plastic has been reformulated for durability.

I haven't been standing on it or throwing it around lol...but it seems very durable to me.

I hate to break the news Kellie, and I know it sounds down right ridiculous, particularly in this day and age. But.......... durability is determined after cleaning with it, more than few months. I have the blue one, we are, however, talking about the clear head, that originally had some issues.

I don't believe it was catastrophic failures. Just simple fractures at some of the screw holes.

I really do love this tool, it just glides so nicely and no overspray whatsoever. I don't know how I ever lived without it.

exactly....the shells could be used for a long time after fracturing.



Even if you had to buy new shells once a year it wouldn't matter

I've never used the newer ones until this one so I've nothing to compare it to, but honestly, I don't see how it could be improved at this point.

Actually your thumb naturally falls in there and fits quite comfortably.
