I think photos are easy, text takes some time to get right, and layout takes skill or the ability to observe why one layout looks better than another.

Free templates and stock photos often look like the example you show, so if you don't have the time or aptitude it's probably a good investment to pay someone to make your marketing look good.

How many carpet cleaners her or elsewhere can write (or photograph) their own material?

We use our own pics typically and come up with our own material to separate us out.

It seems to be better received in our smaller community and market area.

But, if you don't feel comfortable with this, it is nice to know there is material available.....
