OK..i've asked this before, but did not get a satisfactory answer......

How many gal of gasoline can they refine outta a barrel of oil....seems like since oil is thicker and gasoline is way way thinner..that there should be way more gas refined than started out wit.....huh?

bob off hand i cant remember the ratio but i believe it was less gas than other stuff but not by too much.remember they also make kerosene,diesel,jet fuel and some of it goes to plastics too.

also shell is saudi oil and mobile is from that region too.but i buy it too because it keeps all the air pollution crap from plugging up.

i have been staring to buy phillips more though because it is american oil.
